The glass door.........

More activity on the other side of the glass door and some filtered voices can be heard. but they are so many that they don't make much sense (to me). I'm volunteering for the strategy team tonight. Much ready to be the guinea pig but they politely informed me that there's a criterion even to be experimented upon. That is a minimal level of IQ and reading skills. Not that you can jump to conclusions about my IQ & RC so quickly, it's just that I'm feeling a "little" disinclined towards proving my mettle. And i clear the ground for more enthusiastic mates who have also "already" read the long-ish case study and are all set to play roles of some XYZ company's ABC CEOs. In the middle of the night. (Now, this was reduntant! It has to be middle of the night because during the day, our teachers still love us and would not let our lecture learning hours suffer in the interest of our sleep.)

Where were we.... I mean me, oh at the other side of the same glass door. The case study has been discussed and torn apart clause by clause and line by line. During this dissection process, I remain seated comfortably unaware of the nitty gritties of the case, listening to GnR's "patience". What irony!! It's them who need it and it's i who is being preached. But I'm also doing what most experts do, Comment. Just sit at a distance, watch (observe) and talk, talk not to your friends but talk at large you see. So, I'm talking tonight, yet again.

I didn't realise when, the analysis of the case was done and it was silent again.... as the team members left one by one and my friend stayed behind for few more minutes working on his laptop, maybe (I can only postulate) consolidating/analyzing the results... maybe, just taking a few minutes break which are the luxury only few can afford in SOM tonight. He looks tired, I can tell and so are my other friends who are working in the lab right now on the almost final details of everything. But there's a strange excitement about them which keeps them up and about, which keeps them working and driving..... it's our fest, our school, our pool of thoughts and ideas. It's ours.

And I forgot to mention, during that long grill of case study analysis, i went to the third floor (lab) once to get rid of the stiffness in my legs n the chatter of too many facts I couldn't want to comprehend. I saw something I had only imagined sitting in my room, how would it be if both the batches of SOM were present at a task at the same time, working as a team...... it's this HUGE. They say we are less in nos. when compared to some other hallowed portals of learning. You should see their energy, enthusiasm and spirit. It's amazing. Come Avenues and you shall see, we more than make up in our quality for what we didn't even think as worth giving a thought (quantity).

There's something about this place, something about this whole "school of management", it makes you wanna do everything it takes to rock the world and leave our mark everywhere we decide to.
Hats off to the spirit of SOM!!!
Hats off to those who are SOM!!!

P.S. Posting the pictures that I clicked during this duration of two hours which I have covered in this post. In the order they happened.
