Shailesh J Mehta School of Management IIT Bombay brings AVENUES.07, its Annual International Business Festival. A part of Golden Jubilee Celebrations of IIT Bombay, AVENUES.07 promises to offer a platform to compete as well as learn through competitions, games, speeches, panel discussions and workshops. AVENUES.07 takes a giant leap forward by going international this year.
Embodying the spirit of all the disciplines of management is Abhyutthan - the championship games at AVENUES.07. Abhyutthan features competitions on various management verticals and it is the flagship competition of AVENUES.07.
Navonmesh (The Entrepreneurial Challenge) brings business strategy and venture capitalist challenge – Baazi and a panel discussion – Anubhav on the topic “Overcoming challenges while transforming a startup into an industry Titan” featuring world renowned and dynamic entrepreneurs.
Teams from the US, Canada and Singapore colleges/universities fought out in the international preliminaries while the teams from India in the national prelims of both these events and now only the best teams from India and abroad will fight it out in the final round that will grill the teams in all areas of management. May the best team win!
Alankar (The Talk Series) brings internationally recognized inspirational speakers together like globally renowned business strategy consultant Shri C.K. Prahalad, the torchbearer of
Prashnavali (The Mega Quiz) to be hosted by renowned quiz master Giri "Pick Brain" Balasubramaniam promises to be a nail biting contest of the grey cells.
Chitra Katha (The Short Film Contest) organized by Creative Commons India, Udgam (A Consulting Challenge) in association with CII-Yi bringing a social business development strategy competition, Samadhan (The Operations Competition) and Jantar Mantar (The Systems Game) make up the innovative bouquet of games and competitions in AVENUES.07.
The cultural night, Deewan-E-Khas has Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, an Indian maestro, internationally renowned for his successful adaptation of the Western Hawaiian Guitar into a new instrument known as the Mohan Veena and the recipient of Grammy Award (1994), the Sangeet Natak Academy Award (1999) and the Padma Shree (2002) lightening up the Day 2 evening.
Apart from these, there are on-the-spot games and competitions and lots of prizes to be grabbed to make two days of the festival memorable.
